About the role
We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join Mindpool’s engineering practice in Dubai. You’ll work across a small portfolio of client engagements, leading feature work end-to-end and mentoring the engineers around you.
This is hands-on work — we expect senior engineers to write production code most weeks — but with real influence on architecture, hiring, and engineering culture across the team.
What you’ll do
- Lead front-end and API work for client products in fintech and SaaS, owning entire features end-to-end.
- Architect performant, accessible UIs in React or Vue and ship pragmatic backend services in Node or Python.
- Pair with product and design partners to scope, sequence, and deliver work in two-week increments.
- Mentor mid-level engineers via code review, design docs, and structured pairing sessions.
- Own quality through tests, observability, and incident reviews — not just shipping the happy path.
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years building production web applications across both client and server.
- Strong proficiency in modern JS/TS, at least one major framework (React, Vue, or Svelte), and a typed backend language.
- Comfortable owning a database schema, designing REST or GraphQL APIs, and reasoning about caching and performance.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and shaping engineering culture, not just shipping code.
- Excellent written communication — most decisions on our team happen in design docs and async threads.
